I'd seen a picture similar to this so thought I'd try it. DH and children obligingly built stone towers for me! To get the nice blurry background I went for f/4.5, shutter speed 1/1000 and ISO-100 as it was a very bright day. Was especially pleased the horizon was level, as that's the thing I often forget to check!

Love this shot Hannah. I'd seen some similar stuff with pebbles too that I thought would be great experimental dof shots.
